Rwanda – English Teacher
The Free Methodist Church in Rwanda seeks an English teacher to assist its leaders’ transition from French to English. Free Methodist World Missions desires to process such a teacher as a Free Methodist missionary.
- Candidates should be able to articulate a call to missionary or cross-cultural service,
- Candidates should have cross-cultural training and be willing to order their lives with sensitivity to the host culture,
- Candidates should have ability to teach English, preferably ESL training,
- Candidates should be willing to fully identify with Free Methodist ethos,
- Candidates should have or be willing to get exposure to developing world environments and cultures,
Guidance is provided for partnership/support building.
Responsibilities include all normal responsibilities of English teaching; preparation, instruction—particularly conversational instruction.
In case the applicant is married, there are other meaningful positions his/her spouse will likely find available within the scope of Rwanda church ministry.
